P.E. Expectations:
1.) Having fun while behaving safely is our number one rule.
2.) Students are expected to follow the rules contained in the Hofer student handbook. The handbook contains specific rules protecting each individual’s right to learn. Consequences for breaking these rules are stated in the handbook.
3.) Students should get permission to see the nurse or leave the gym for any reason, unless it is an emergency situation.
4.) Please do not bring gum, candy, or any other unnecessary objects into the gym. Mr. Kueper will provide pencils when necessary.
5.) Please remember to be respectful, responsible and peaceful!
6.) Gym shoes should be worn at all times during P.E. class. No open back gym shoes, any type of sandal or any dress shoes please. It is strongly encouraged that students do not wear any formal wear on P.E. days.
7.) Students who do not have gym shoes will be given one warning each trimester, then will sit out on the next occurence.
8.) With any form of misbehavior, Mr. Kueper will discuss the problem with the student. Warnings will be given to students who are not following the rules. If the behavior persists, the student will be asked to sit out during class. When the behavior becomes a further problem, Mr. Kueper will write a referral and discuss the behavior with parents/guardians and other necessary Hofer staff.
